Threatening calls to immediately call back or my bank account will be charged by the end of day. The standard collection call for college debt/student loan. At 85, three times retired, and the hasty time I attended college there were no student loans. The voice in the message left is the typical recording used by middle eastern scammers. Call came in as “USA”. Dothan Alabama is in the USA. Prob. Really calling from Nigeria.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
