Mark,What a way to show your professionalism while representing your company. I highly recommend you consult with your legal team at your home office before making threats to people as it relates to slander. It is your company making calls or sending emails out to people on the job boards, etc.
Got the same voicemail as the rest of you and NO Mark Thompson did not state his company name but I could tell it was for some type of sales position from the tone of his voicemail. I LOVE Google!!
I got the same call as well and did go to the presentation for the company's expansion (twice he has called)...but I never met Mark personally. He shockingly was not there during the presentation I attended...probably still busy making calls! If you do want to check out this company's presentation, you should know it IS sales, and don't be led astray. And second, don't bring your WALLET or CHECKBOOK or credit card in during the presentation...leave them in the car. They want your $ to start your own independent little consulting operation. You will never be employed by them.I personally think that if this sales guy was proud of the company he was growing, then he would've told every single person that he calls the company name and that this was a chance of a lifetime to join a great company.
Mark Thompson also made completely unsolicited and unwelcome calls to my cell number. At no point did he properly identify himself or his business.Obviously a scam artist of some variety.
I just got a call from this bozo today too. Thanks for the info as I won't waste my precious time in looking for a real job.
A manCalled me also today. Extremely unprofessional and evasive. Believe he garnered my information from a well known online resume site, applying for other qualified specific employment. He was nasty, crude and overbearing; certainly NOT a good representative for Primerica. I will be calling them on Monday to make a personal complaint to 'his' management, and play for them my recording i use for 'quality assurance'.I welcome your input on this post also "Mark', enlighten me as to what I can do.
again guys,,,my name is mark thompson, if i called you, i got your number from one of my agents that are working part time and they probably met you somewhere or got your number from a recruiting agency or temp service. i just make the phone call and leave my name & number if you have an interest in working part or full time to call me. if i dont hear from you, i never make more than 2 calls with a message with my name & number. there's no mystery here, im expanding, our company is expanding and we hire & train new agents to work within our company across north america. i do interview sessions 6 times a week going over everything about our company, etc, etc,,,please, if you have a question, call me,,,i would be more than happy to answer and question or help you the best i can,,
I recently posted my resume on Craig's List. This is what I received:I'm expanding my business in the Atlanta arealooking for professional people either part or fulltime. If you have a recruiting, sales, retail, humanresources, management background, call me. I have interview sessions Monday, Tuesday 10amor Tuesday 7pm. Call with a time that is good for you. Don't reply via email, call me. Mark Thompson404 333 9282Nowhere does it state what he does or whom he represents. Thus, another misleading employment scam.
Well to be honest, it seems like a lot of your are misinformed about what the guy is doing. Let me try and break it down as much as I can, but keep in mind what this man is doing is perfectly legal..This is is a sales agent who works for Primarica through multi level marketing insurance. Which is known as a pyramid scheme which is a non-sustainable business model that involves promising participants payment primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, rather than from any real investment or sale of products or services to the public.. Now let me break that down to in layman’s terms...This man is a independent agent who sells insurance for Primarica and gets a cut from what he sales. Then he recruits people to sell insurance and he gets a cut from what you sell because he recruited you...Understand now? The up front fee is for your business license.
