Great idea! But I don't think a live person is on the line until after your voice triggers a transfer to a live salesperson.
Not a debt collector, timeshare sales. If you (or someone you know or are related to who might have that number) stayed in any related Wyndham property (even without Wyndham in the name) or signed up for their Wyndham Rewards program, that's possibly how they got it. That's got to be how they got mine.
