Some kind of dept consolidators except the message they delivered on my answer machine was that they attempted to contact us several times about un unpaid credit bill and that this would be our last opportunity to take care of it before they persue legal action against us.First of all a legit credit company will identify themselves properly2nd the caller ID would have the proper company name on it as well3rd they will at least name the individual they are contactingthe ID was V11219211300526This is more like a Scam then your typical collection agency offering to help you take care of your credit problems.Investigation on this should be done by someone like the FBI
443-602-3737 keeps call my home and cell phone. When I tell "Bill" I am on a do not call list he tells me that was abolished in 2009. He gave me a complaint # to call which was a person residence. He needs to be stopped ASAP!
Just go a call from this number. Did not recognize the number on call ID, let call go to voicemail and they hung up immediately when they heard the answering machine.
Received recorded message ("a courtesy call") saying that this was their last call about offering to help consolidate credit card balances at a lower interest. I'm VERY DUBIOUS -- about the fact they had tried to contact earlier, and the authenticity of their intentions. BEWARE -- sounds like a phony scam to me.
These are scam artist trying to obtain credit card numbers. No one is going to stop them and they know this, just harass them as much as you can.
number is from Catonsville/Baltimore MD exchange.... but hung-up after 1 ring & before i could even answer. Called my cell #, which *IS* on the Do-NotCall list. Calling any cell number is a federal telemarketing law violation, regardless of whether a number is DNC listed..... so this is a likely a scam or otherwise disreputable company behind the calls.
