LC - You really have the most helpful information here. Automated recording speaking about a "prize" and asking the callee to enter numbers. This is the type of scam that can give people access to your cell phone, account and other info. You should not answer, enter any numbers or EVER call them back. Remember the laws like the "Do not call list" are for legitimate businesses and this is a SCAM; they do not care about the laws. They will be untraceable and disappear as soon as anyone tries to enforce anything on them, but get just enough people to play along to reap lucrative theft and cause major havoc for those people. Hopefully, through communication sites like this site, fewer people fall victim. Thanks for the heads up everyone!
Anyone know how to stop getting calls like this? It happens to me every week, from a different number. I am registered with the Do Not Call list.

Lame, got this call just ten min ago here in Cali for the second time today.. I don't have tmobile and have had this number for over a year - second time this week I've gotten calls from weird numbers (first new york that was recorded survey crap, now this). I've never had odd calls before and have no debt collectors so wtf is going on? how the hell can we block our cell numbers?
got call from this number @ 9:31 here in texas, I have tmobile and don't give my cell # to anyone other than friends and family and the school. not even bill collectors have it so not sure why this # is calling me. left no message.
Got a call at 5:34PM PST. I have a 702 (Las Vegas area) number. No message left. I am on AT&T, so it's not a T-mobile thing.
Got a call from this number 20 min ago. I'm in ATL. I didn't answer it though when I CALLED IT BACK it said # was disconnected. Could be a phone hacker. Gotta watch out for that stuff. I'll report the number to the FCC and CIA as fraudulant. Advise you all to do the same.
the caller is using the same number for all of us. it is a bunch of bull honky the number is a virus type of thing that is of "omg god end of the world" type of crap the number is a reroute of a voip (voice over internet phone) The Mayan calender is to be continued when the eligible world end of 2012. anyone with a brain the would look into it would know and understand the Spanish conquers destroyed a good amount of the secrets to unlocking what we don't understand.
