They called my office, Indian accent. When I answered he said my name, I replied "speaking", and he hung up. If you call back you receive the "number not in service" error.
Calls like this are obvious phishing attempts to confirm your info. Save yourself the trouble and don't answer unknown numbers. If no message is left, BLOCK IT! On top of that the number is spoofed, a telltale signature of a SCAMMER!
That same guy just called my work then my cell, I answered and said yes that's me then he hung up.
A gentleman by the name of "BRIAN" called me to my work number, after asking for me by first and last name and I confirmed, they hung up.
Like everyone else, this call was transferred to my desk at work. Accented male asked if this was my name, hung up when I said yes. Annoying.
Received a call today at work for another employee. Male caller with a thick accent states he was calling from UPS concerning a package that was addressed to the company and the specific employee. He was needing to discuss the liquid contents within the package, Transferred call to employee and male caller hung up.
Same here, asked for someone that doesn't work in this office. Hung up when asked who was he?
