They call almost three times a wee and I won't agree to their offer, they end the call. How do I convince them to leave you alone ?

this person called calling about closing some education account and wanted detailed personal info on our dead relative, they didn't even know she was a he, kinda fishy. I'm a law enforcement officer and in this day and age I don't trust calls like that.

I received a call from the same number concerning my daughter that has passed also. I also work in Law enforcement. How odd is that. Kind of creepy. What I thought was unusual was how the text was written. When I get voice mail the message is also converted into text. The sentences were incoherent in thought and wording.

My husband received a very similar call from someone who claimed to be calling from the Dept. Of Education-Higher Learning regarding a student loan that they claimed my father in law co-signed. The scary thing is that this caller tried to obtain a death certificate from the funeral home first. The funeral home contacted us and we in turn had this person call us direct. The caller made a big error and raised big flags when they unknowingly got my father in law confused with my brother in law who also passed away. I knew the caller had to be a fraud because they had no reaction to the fact that the information they had was completely wrong.. any legit person calling for such reasons would have been concerned about reporting the fraudulence.. this person did not, however tried to proceed in asking further questions, but did not want to provide us with any information.
