Called notifying me of inadequate tax filings and that I had $6000 owed to the IRS. Sounded like a scam to me!

I also received a call from this number from a woman identifying herself as an IRS and Homeland security agent demanding $6986.00 for taxes. She stated there was an arrest warrant and since I have always paid taxes was very upset and. Had a huge panic attack and called my tax prep co who said that this was a scam. People should know about this so I called local news stations who clearly could have cared less. Even actually laughed at me for falling for it !

Every one this is a fake please call your police and report them and let friends and family no about this IRS scam. Google IRS phone scams and learn about it they left me a voice that I pay 6 k or I would go to jail and they wanted me to send to a Weston union the IRS will never call no one. Report them this not the real IRS they are useing a spoof number looking for victims

I answered this one out of curiosity as I usually don't answer calls from numbers I don't know. Another annoying robocall. This time claiming to be calling from Medicare. Would give it zero stars if I could.
Because I didn't know who the caller was, I sent it to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message and hung up. I assumed it was another robo call and when I checked this site my assumption was confirmed.
