Had a missed call, so called the number. A young latin accented boy answered with"hello". I guess he couldn't hear me... Unless that's a ploy to keep people on the phone, like thescams from south america where they charge $100 per minute to YOUR cell phone.

It is Viking Magazines. You may have taken a survey or tried to be entered to win something. Just call the number and they will remove your number from their list (they were actually very nice about it).

Now stuff of this nature would be something Steve Jobs would have solved...Can't we get an APP to spam these morons back or even get the FCC to shut them down after all this is a form of terrorism.B.O. Even gets these!

This is Viking Messaging Service. They sell magazines. Call this number 800-339-9492 and ask them to take you off. They buy their information from other companies, so they may have gotten you number from another source (sweepstakes online) - I just called them and she confirmed this

They called,I called back,the operator at other end knew My name and addresse.He proceeded with questions about My age,where I work,and where I live before I got a word in edge-wise.I gave Him the"WHOA-WHOA-WHOA!"and asked Him who the heck He was.He answered with some Jibbidy-doo about"Offermade.com"or some hogwash,I found nothing online.I closed the conversation with"Dude,You're freakin' Me out,don't stalk Me and I'm not joining Your cult."

Thanks for your messages here. I received the call also. It was for something my wife(or I under her name) signed up for. Eligible to win the million dollars. It took a little insistence to tell them to put me on the do not call list but it wasn't so bad. Like someone said, they were nice about it after you got out of the sales rap.
