I've been getting several phone calls from this number and I have stated clearly that they are unwanted but they continue to disturb me.

CID: Siena Research (Institute). As others posted above, Siena is both a RC college (Franciscan origin) and a legitimate research/survey nfp group, thus, makes legal calls under the NDNC even on Sundays (though that does seem strange).Siena is known for their political surveys and this is the 'silly season'.I too have received calls without messages. Survey companies don't usually leave messages, they need to keep their calls random and based on sampling guidelines. Most of the comments made above simply don't apply, though I agree, their calls are annoying, especially multiple calls (allowable until someone answers).This could be a cloned/smurffed number, but I doubt it. I called back and got SRI, and while the number doesn't match their main line, it never would.So, there are really three options: 1) ignore/block future calls, 2) answer, ask politely to be removed after someone (no one here actually seems to know) asks their questions, or 3) contact their mail line during business hours and ask to be removed.Generally, a legitimate surveyor will do so, though they probably outsource to someone else locally. If they continue to call after a 'polite ask' then call the main line and ask to speak with Leslie Foster, or email her at her lkfoster@siena.edu.
