This number called my AT&T cel, too. I am also on Do Not Call List. I don't answer Unknown Caller calls, either. No clue who they are or what they want but glad to know from this sight I don't have to worry that it is someone I know!
Just got a call on cell phone...if I do not recognize a number I do not answer, I wait for them to leave a message and if they do not it is time to block. Have a nice day!
Same thing - automated, spanish speaking.... it goes to my cell phone. Putting on caller ID do not answer/scam. Thank you Sheri for your post - I have ATT as well!
so many calls recently - I just recieved the call too - voice mail in Spanish - I don't follow Spanish.Btw, my area code is 858 - jus curious if they were going by a specific area code.
i'm scared seriously i got this call in the middle of talking to my dad on the other line and when i picked up the first ting it said was WE HAVE YOUR NUMBER and then started speaking in spanish before going dead....i'm scared....
Got the same call on my cell phone too. Also on the do not call list. I didn't answer either. I have a Trac Fone.
I got the call, then a few minutes later my wife got a call from same number (our numbers are relatively close). I paid attention and the clanking sound is like a cash-register noise, then it says in Spanish "the cash register has been opened and you won $1000 .. pressto claim your prize.." come on.. what does it take to block such obvious scams these days ?? definitely they're are targeting Spanish speaking communities.. and yes, I also thought that telemarketing to cell phones was illegal (since we also pay for the call)...
Just got one @ 'bout 9:54 am. Cald bak a few times n got @ least 3 diffeent messages. Now enuf spanish ta give a cusn. haha. mexicans are tricky, use ta work with some illegals here in AR!
