Foreign accent, noisy background, said they were a Microsoft Business Partner. I hung up before he babbled on much more. Scammers.

Caller wanted to fix my computer. He talked so fast I didn't understand him. Loud background noise. I told him I use a Mac he hung up. Scammer!

It happened to my in-laws before and to me today - I guess that they are calling from Pakistan/India and they are professional scammers.

they call several times a week for the last two or three years now, claiming to be from Microsoft Windows and they want to remotely control your computer via a fake website so they can gain access to your internet banking info. Once i even told them i knew this and they said 'how did you know?" Pretty dumb!

Microsoft calling because I have a problem with my computer. Strange considering that I have not used any M$ products since win95

Have received 5 calls from 585-506-5164 in the last 10 days. I answered the first call - very noisy background, heavy accent said he was calling from Microsoft to fix my computer as it was going to be shut down in the next two days if he did not fix it. I had him repeat the info several times telling him I could not hear him because of the noise. He was speaking loud by then and impatiently told me he wanted me in front of my computer. I told him if he wanted me to take my clothes off in front of the computer, I would call the police. Then I hung up the phone. Same call 2 days later. I told him I did not have a computer and hung up. Have not answered the last three times the phone rang with that number.

Scammer pretending to be from Microsoft

I received a call from this number and the person said that they were from Microsoft and my computer was sending error e-mails to Microsoft and he was phoning to help me fix the problem. I managed to string him along for 15 minutes before he got mad and hung up. That's 15 minutes he wasn't bothering anyone else...

Received a call from 585-506-5164 - after a pause on the line (I knew it was a phony call) the caller said he was acting as a subsidiary from Microsoft - I made him repeat where or who he was calling from and then he told me that my Windows 10 was sending error messages and that he wanted to fix the problem - He had an East Indian/Pakistan accent - So I told him that Microsoft does not call users to help them "fix" anything - Told him he was a fraudester and I hung up. I am in Ottawa Canada and also am on the "no calling list for Canada" I will be contacting the Cdn No Calling List to file a complaint.
