I got a computer scam from this number. Saying my computer was compromised

said he was receiving messages from my computer and warned me to stop.

Just got a call telling me that someone may have hacked into my computer and is using it to send Spam. Wanted me to verify my IP. Said she was with Domain Name Server. How she even got my phone number, I don't know, because it's new.

We had a great time with them... We (upon answering) rang out doorbell twice and asked them to hold as there was 'someone' at our door. We then placed our wireless over a tablet which was tuned into darkmatterradio and let it play. What was really funny was that the "click" that indicated that they hung up took about 5 minutes! Wow, another convert to digital radio!

I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. After reading these comments, I'm glad I dont answer unknown numbers.

I received a call today from 613-458-7440 (ORLEANS, ONTARIO CANADA), telling me that someone from Mexico had hacked into my computer. They wanted me to verify my IP address, and I told them that I did not have a computer. They said that they knew better. I hung up! Then, I received a second call a few minutes later from a different person (UNKNOWN NUMBER), who wanted to address my computer problem. I told him that he was just a SCAM, and not to call me again.

Another call from these criminals September 12th. Told the guy he was lying and hung up.

Caller claims that my computer is putting out viruses, now I tell them "thats the point, I put the virus in the computer on purpose.

This guy with a thick accent claimed he worked for DNS, that hackers from Mexico have been sending spam to the government through my computer, and a bunch of other horse sht. If they call you, have some fun with them because that's what they're doing to you. I asked for a phone number and they said call 911 LOL. Nice try bubsey

Told me he called randomly and was looking for a friend. I said no thanks and hung up.
