I have been called 3 times today from this number, telling me that my Apple Account has been compromised and my I-Cloud Account has been breached. They have left messages on my phone for the past few days.
3 robo calls from this number about my Apple device being hacked, of which I do not own.
Had a msg left today from Apple Inc. about my account being hacked. I do not even own an Apple device!
Legit callback from Apple Store @Easton Columbus OH informing me they had my replacement parts.
Left msg saying to presd 2 to return the call or call another number. Suspect spam or scam.
2 calls this afternoon - the other number was 937 431 4200 at 3:39 ..and the second call from Scammers a few seconds ago... they will not stop calling or sending emails.. This happens every time that I have changed information or called about my Apple devices to legit Apple phone numbers.. Calls from the mentioned phone numbers are not legit Apple phone numbers . ..
Considering that I do not own any Apple devices, and the only apply product I use is iTunes, I'm pretty sure that whomever is calling is a thief and has spoofed the number. I typed the number into google and it traces back to the Easton Town Center Apple Store in Columbus Ohio. So someone at the Apple Store in Columbus Ohio is randomly calling people around the country on the stores phone? Uh huh sure! I'll just go back to waiting for little, pink, pigs to fly past my window and the money tree to sprout in my front yard from the quarter I planted.
I'm pretty sure the thief has spoofed the apple store phone number in order to get people to answer the phone. I once saw someone do that with the phone number for my towns police department, and I once had the legitimate number for the Canadian IRS show up on my caller ID and the person who called has left a message saying I owed taxes..... I live in the southern U.S. and have never even visited Canada.
