I called back and its bogus

GMAC calling about my lease end. Legit call.

GMAC lease services calling about end of lease on GM vehicle. Legit call, positive circumstances, providing information - not soliciting.

Message left for a family member - said they were from GMAC. I have a with them which is up mid-April and I did hear from my dealership re: return of vehicle. Anyway, phone number could not be dialed back - which I don't understand. Said call cannot be completed as dialed. Then I don't understand why they left a message with name, company and number to call. Double-checked number I was calling against caller ID and number my family member wrote on paper. Re-checked number on my redial that I had dialed. (Did everything twice before I wrote all this done . . . ) Just make them identify your entire name and account number and, of course, don't give them your social security number because I really don't trust this number. Why would they give a phone number that you can't call back???? Really, GMAC, I've had much better customer service from you during the past 4 years! (P.S. - They got their last payment 2 days ago. Maybe he wanted to make arrangements to get their car back ahead of time.) I don't understand a request for a return phone call and then get the phone company's message where "my call cannot be completed as dialed . . ." Hello, is it GMAC? Who are you?
