They call every morning. Since I have the number blocked it only rings once.

Call came in before 9 a.m. Automated voice announcement: "If you are 'Jane Doe', please press 1". I pressed 1 and they hung up. I dialed back and a female answered, asked if I was ____ _____ . I said, "Yes". She said I owed them money, then proceeded to ask me to "confirm" my SSN, dob, etc. I stated that she and her group were scammers and that I "do not owe any bills". For others reading the comments on this website; federal authorities are aggressively investigating these scammers.
scammer said they were GA State Collections and taxes were due or be arrested,,,, threatened with attorneys...hung up fast

They call and want me to verify my identity by confirming my name and address, but they never say who they represent or why they are calling. They claim it is confidential. Sounds like a scam call.

Yes. The caller claimed to represent Document Delivery Services and threatened to serve me with papers from a fifteen year old debt. A check with my local County Clerk’s Office revealed no evidence of lawsuit filed.
