Just got another call from 714-360-9062, on my cell phone. A real nuisance. I protect my cell number but have received several calls from scammers in the past month. It was shortly after I declined to give my cell number to my landline phone company, during a routine business call that I initiated, that these calls started. Could be a coincidence, but I can't think of anything else different. I had unwisely made the business call on my cell... Then I read about how Qwest and others are putting together customer's personal information, to sell on "lists". And I remembered how they tried to get not only my cell, but my SS #, my driver's license number and my birthdate (they called it "updating your information"). ADVICE: Be wary of which business calls you make on your cell phone. Consider having that number "blocked".
I got 2 phone calls today from this number. They did not leave a message. When I called back, I got THEIR message that told me to leave THEM a message. I didn't. I figure if it is important, they will leave a message stating who they are, the time they called, and what they want.
just got a call from this number...have set my phone to reject it after reading all these posts...
got call every 2 weeks.... now if i will get call again... i will [***] them, very hard... trust me..!!
I am receiving phone calls from 714-360-9062. Messages are usually left, but not always, saying something about lowering my interest rate on a credit card or something similar. They do not specify what credit card in which they are referencing. I have never tried to return the calls knowing that it is probably a scam. If it were real, the name of the credit card company/bank would be given and a phone number to return the call would be provided. These calls have been occurring for about two months now.
