Got a call I won 1.2 million. Global Services was going to deliver it on Monday. Called Sherrif and FBI. If they ask for any personal information or for money it is a SCAM. It took several calls for them to get to that. First they wanted to know if I would be home Monday to receive the delivery of the package. Called back on Monday I had to send them $250 for FDIC insurance (SCAM). They are very good at trying to convince you to give them money. And of course they say they will reimburse you. I called the Sherrif and FBI. The Global Service caller gave me this phone number 737 874 2833 as a number to call. I had the Sherriff call because I did not want them to have my cell number as well. The FBI said that they have made threats to other people but they are out of the country and no where near us. We need to find a way to stop this. They have taken a lot of money from several people in our area. I cannot believe we cannot find these criminals and track them down. It's a sad day today. I hope I kept the criminal busy long enough that he did not have time to try to steal from anyone else on this day. I had him wait on the phone to get pencil and paper. I kept asking him questions just trying to take his time. Try it if you get a call from them. It is a little comical to hear them try to come up with some answers. When I finally told him to stop calling me I told him he should be ashamed for stealing from the elderly and I hope they get caught. He hung up on me of course.

737-874-2833, Got a call from this number and they said I was picked by the US gov and I have a $7,000 grant waiting for me. Than they said I should call their supervisor the next day on how to get the money. I'll call and see if it is a scam. Smells funny. The number they told me to call is 202 683 9875.

Ok. I got a call. From my brother. He has voip through his cable company. I use magic jack. His number is restricted and blocked. What happens is somewhere, somehow the phone company will put the number instead of the word restricted on your caller id.A call can come from any phone. Has nothing to due with this actual number. It is a tele-translation caller ID issue. Instead of Restricted it displays 737-874-2833I am sure if this happens on some phone systems it could happen on cell systems too.

Received a call from this number as well as some strange text messages from someone living in New Port Beach, California.

I do not know why they used that number, but mine was DHL with an automated message that my shipment was coming tomorrow. They gave me an 800 number, so one would think it wouldnt be too hard to just display that instead

this number calls 2-3 times a day. no one says anything when i pick up the phone...wish there was some way i can stop this...the do not call center does nothing...
