Just got a call from these folks ... You can stop the calls from lexington law by using the phone they called you on dial 1-800-422-4895 and you will be put on an internal do not call list.

The problem is not that this outfit calls you on Sundays. The problem is that they call you AT ALL. Day of the week does not matter. Found this number on my own caller ID.

I entered my information on a free credit report website and they haven't stop calling me since.. Its a scam for telemarketing.. Be aware!

These people drive me nuts. STOP CALLING! By chance did anyone here sugn up for equifax.com services or transunion services? That's where I am thinking they got my number. Or perhaps a student at University of Phoenix? I think all of these places are selling my number. I also heard Wells Fargo does as well and I had an account with them.

I did not request any information online for improved credit or anything like that. Out of the blue I started receiving calls from this number (800-292-1512). The first time I told them I was not interested and hung up. I figured that would stop the calls. At first, they were only calling one or two times a week. Today however, they were calling every five minutes for at least an hour. On top of that, I was out to lunch and I had to keep pulling my phone out to "ignore" these calls. I called the number 800-422-4895 to be put on a no-call list so I'm hoping that works. They claim to be Lexington Law but it seems really sketchy to me.

I got 2 phone calls today and a text message, I did send the "STOP" text back right away. Then about an hour later I recieved another call when I checked the voice mails they were both from a lady named Betsy Reese looking for a person named Beth. I immediately returned the call to this "Betsy Reese" and the man named John that answered the phone I asked for this Betsy Reese, he said she left for the day. Why would she call, leave a message on my voice mail then leave the office 2 seconds after for the day???? So I asked this "John" person to remove my number from the caller list, that I wasn't even the person they were looking for, he asked me my name and I told him he didn't need my named to just remove my number from the list please. He was very rude (for being employed by a law firm) Long story short he told me that they can not remove my number, still instisting on my name. My husband immediately called back after I hung up on "John" in frustration. My husband was on hold for maybe 6 minutes when Ron answered. He asked for this "Betsy Reese" and to my surprise was connected right away to "Besty Reese" (I thought she left for the day). After argueing to remove the number, she was very dumb because she kept telling him that he called her, well duh..... because the message she left to return the call..... My impression is that these people are scammers at the very least. I wouldn't give them my dogs information. Be very careful if you get a call from this 800 number. Not to be trusted.

Lexington Law. Number keeps calling me leaving messages that I signed up for some online debt counseling. I am also getting emails from them as well. Someone posted that it was third party calls from an online book/article download. I didn't do that either so not sure how they got my information. I called the number back today and asked to be put on their do not call list. Was told by Jeff that it would take 48 hours to be removed. Will see what happens. I also noticed an email that I was signed up for freecreditreport.com which I also did not do. I called the number in the email and was able to cancel the account before any credit card charges appeared. They could not give me the information on the account as the "verification" information - mother's maiden name, last four of my SSN, last 4 digits of my credit card, etc. - did not match. The only things that matched was my birthday and email address. They did, however, go ahead and close the account immediately.The only reason I am posting these together is that they both concern my credit and they both happened on the same day. Coincidence or not, thought everyone should be aware so they could check and see if the same thing happened to them.
