Weltman Weinberg & Reis Attorneys Specializing in collections. Repeatedly call & they do not leave messages. Occasionally leave a message under the name JP recovery Systems.

Weltman Weinberg & Reis- I get the call once every 3-4 weeks. It is a recording and it NEVER says what the call is in regard to. Just to call them during their business hours. After reading these previous entries, I don't call them back. These messages are very annoying- especially since I am registered with the federal DO NOT CALL. I am reporting them to that agency.

same number as above,have received 3 calls from this number so far,all looking for "Amber Livingston"(??? never heard of her), and they never state who they are. NUMEROUS ones from weltman, weinberg & reis with a recording to call a different number. Are they related to each other as others have stated?I also get calls from "creditor's financial group" and "hrrg". All of these calls have started at the same time out of the blue, and we don't owe anyone anything, so obviously they have the wrong number & person. After reading what people have said all over the internet, I am not calling them back, because once you do, they never stop (according to what other people have said). From what I gather, they sound like they use dubious,underhanded tactics,which leads me to believe they are a scam outfit.

this is a follow up 1 year later:we still get the calls, but not nearly as frequent, they have dwindled significantly. We NEVER answer or call back. I think the name "Amber Livingston" is fictitious, and they just try to extort money from you.they also try other ways to trick you into calling back, by using different names or numbers or different recorded calls, but they are ALL from the same outfit. Do not call back, they will only try to frighten and extort money from you, they are not honest or legitimate and there is no talking reason to them. They are a scaM, outfit. BEWARE!!

They are a law firm/ debt collector. Them filed for a judgement against me but made payment arrangements with me instead. They aren't the best to work with but it was a legitimate debt of mine with Capital One.

Follow up 3 years after last post!!They STILL call. Only it's maybe 4-6 calls per day and they just ring and hang up as soon as the message machine comes on. They've use EVERY tactic to get you to call them back or pick up the phone. Once in awhile they will actually leave a message asking for the same person (that we've never heard of!!). We've never answered or called back and never will. They can call all they want, but if we don't know the person they're looking for, then what's the point. Hopefully someday they'll give up, or we can just cancel our landline I guess.

They called me and left a message on 4-1-14 for employment verification. I called and gave the information... I received another phone call today 4-3-14 for the same employee and file #. I returned the call AGAIN... when I mentioned that I have already done this verification, she got argumentative and said no other phone calls were made. I told her that I still had both messages saved. I went on to tell her that this is the last time we would be returning phone calls left from this company. She said we had to return the phone calls! I gave her a friendly little reminder that by law we DO NOT have to return any phone calls, unless we have a signed release for the employee stating that we can release the information to them. She then started to stutter and say well but... I then told her to have a nice day and hung up.

Received weekly calls from them .. they leave messages. If you pick up the phone, they hang up. They leave messages that they are looking for me sometimes, and sometimes for someone whose name I do not know.
