I have received 3 calls from this number each day for the past 2 days. Finally cut loose the last time and blasted them with salty language. Next call they get an air horn!

Refund of overcharges scam

collection department of ComEd, Commonwealth Edison.

Now that I saw this was from ComEd, I realized it's not only from the collection department. They called me when my service was restored.

I got a call from this number with an automated message claiming to be PECO and they were unable to read my meter, then gave me a number to call to get an engineer, I did'nt get time to take the number down as they had called before 8am and woke me!

I got a call yesterday at 8:02 am and again today at 5:02 pm. I let both calls go to voicemail. They left an automated message claiming to be PICO or PECO (sounds like "pee-ko") and said that they couldn't read my meter. I don't have a meter to read nor do I even have an current account for energy/gas in my name so I think this is a scam. I wont be calling them back.

This was Com-ed calling to notify of power being off 10/13 for repairs.

ComEd calling to invite me to join a text message power out status system - considering how often we lose power here, this is one call I'm happy to get.
