This is terrifying. I didn't receive a call, but I got a letter with this number on it. It had my name and address, the date and location of my ER visit, my insurance provider, and my employer. I don't understand how they could have gotten all of that personal information. How does this happen?

Same exact thing happened to me today also. Idk why a collection agency that doesnt even label there website as a "collection agency" would have all my personal information and say i didnt provide insurance to my hospital which i clearly did. On top of that they listed my " billing fees" as a physical which is definitely not why i was in the ER lmao nor did i recieve a physical.

I received a "THIS IS YOUR FINAL NOTICE!" in all caps the letter reads:"The balance due on your account is delinquent. You must remit payment in full or contact this office immediately or your account may be referred to a collection agency, which may lead to a derogatory comment on your credit report. If you are uninsured or have high medical costs, please contact Patient Services at 800 498 7157 for information on discounts and programs for which you may be eligible, including the Meidcaid program. If you have coverage, please tell us so that we may bill your plan."WHAT MAKES THIS SUSPICIOUS is that for one, I've never been to an ER in Modesto. For two, the letter did not address which facility I had visited (I found this information online and it is 100% bunk and false, I've never been to Modesto in my life) and they did not have information about the date of my visit, what the services/care I received were etc. etc. SHREDDED and REPORTED.

Received several calls from this number about a bill from a doctor. I have never been to a doctor or a hospital since I was a child. Back then my dad was in the military so I did not have any bills from any physician. I am 31 years old and I have NEVER been to a doctor therefore I do not have any bills. STOP CALLING ME. Thank you!

It's a phone number to a billing service for, in our case, a traveling ER Dr. This Dr. doesn't have an office, so he uses these folks to do his billing. BEFORE you pay them, make certain they have all your ins. info and have properly billed charges. Then, await your EOB's to confirm you actually owe the amt they are asking you to pay. They called me @ home and I told them the amt. they asked me to pay seemed high and I would wait for the EOB's to process. Sure enough, they hadn't billed one of our insurances @ all. The original bill was reduced a couple hundred, and now I'm appealing the rest of the charges because the info they submitted to Medicare resulted in a denial of payment, and we've never had a denial before. Medicare advised me to ask the Dr. to resubmit charges, but he refuses to speak with us. The billing company told me patients aren't allowed to speak directly with the Dr., and THEY also aren't allowed to discuss accounts with the Dr.!!?? Don't pay them until you are sure what you owe. Imagine trying to get a refund from them...

These people call me all the time and I don't have any bills.

I had an emergency on Oct6; these jokers called on Oct16 and on Oct19, barely could hear the messages they left, but obviously same woman, asking me to return call. After reading these comments, there is NO WAY I will call back! SCAM!!!!

I've got no medical bills outstanding or current n I've never been to an emergency room thank goodness, haven't been to a Dr. in years n they have no reason to contact me. however I've gotten 2 prior calls from walnut grove, ca leaving message my prescription is ready, checking in me to see if I'm doing well??? again haven't been to California n have no prescriptions. since they continue to call on my cell phone, I've blocked their numbers. walnut grove number was 925 947 5208. when i blocked that they called back using 925 947 4444!
