They say it's Canadian Tire. But would not tell why they call to me. They want to talk to my husband who is not available when they call.

Suppose to be Canadian Tire but not able to identify and they call when I am not at home . They always talk to my co but they dont verify if they are allow to speak to her.

Try not to answer when they call. I work shift work; and am constantly awoken by all these unsoliciated calls. Whats the answer? I've thought about asking the caller for their home phone number so I can call them when they are sleeping (2 - 3 a.m.)

They call my house 15+ times a day. I've told them the person they are looking for is not here during those hours, every day.(Closest I guess is Collection Agency, but they say they are the Bank of Canadian Tire wanting there money he owes)

I also got called by them, and I called the CT # on my CT credit card and asked them to look up that #. They did find it and confirms that it is their collection agency, normally for unpaid balances and such...

It's a collection agency, tell your husband to pay his bill or call them.

i'm just trying to find info for my father about a few numbers that call. this was one of them.they call my house 5+ times a dayevery time i pick up there is no one on the other linewhen there is someone on the other linethey ask to speak with a parenti ask them WHICH parent..they wont tell me.so i ask them WHO THEY ARE..they wont tell meso i politely tell them to bug off, and that "i dont have parents."and thenthe harassment continues.. the next day.. the day after that.. etc.i shouldn't have to argue with people who call my parents house. 'important phone calls' shouldn't be such a secret.

They call us everyday 15 times a day. We picked it up once and they said it was Canadian Tire and would connect with the store. We dont have any information, credit cards etc associated with Canadian Tire.WTF? Can't the police deal with it?

I would like for these people, that don't leave messages to leave me alone. Once I get back on my feet, and to work, Dec 4th, I will be fine in paying off my bills.Thank you very much.

Every one of these calls is a form of illegal harassment. More than ONE call per day, is a punishable, inditable offence, by Canadian law. Inform them of this,and that you will be consulting a Laywer if they persist more the NOE MORE DAY.They will loose the ability to call people who don't know this (if they continue to pursue it), so they will back down. The law requires them to do so. Your local ombudsman, is the guy to call. Also your federal ombusman. This is a telephonic issue, a FEDERAL offence. Pursue it. stick with it. Make the charges STICK.
