This number called me pretending to be Triple A. A white sounding male stated he was giving me a call back, which was different from the number I initially called. It was to update my card information via a letter I'd received. When I called to do so. I gave him verifying information he asked me for (my name [ which after just hearing my name he told me he had me right in front of him], address and phone number) then he asked for type of card and I told him, then he asked for the card number gave him all that information and he immediately after hearing the last number hung up the phone. If he had my phone number why did he not even now after 20 minutes call me back. Because I'm sure Triple A car insurance would not have hung up without completing the conversation of this call. Also they would have been courteous enough to call back if they felt it their fault or mine. Well I ended up calling back and a foreigner guys voice (a familiar voice) who always calls with that different scams voice answered the phone and I hung up. Why would they not ask me for my Membership number if they he was Triple A. However the good of all this is that the card I gave them has a block on it and I have passwords and codes on it before it will unlock to pay any money out. So the jokes on those jokers!!

I answered saying hello however received no reply or answer. So I hung up

I can also confirm it is AAA member services. It is a legit call. They use that number when calling you back.

Yes, it is AAA call back service - ID says TOLL FREE CALL and a phone number. I expected it to say Auto Club or AAA so didn't answer at first. Thankfully this site let me know it's the call I was waiting for from AAA.

It's AAA and legit. I phoned them first and since operators were busy, I selected a call back. This number was the call back number.

It's AAA (automobile club) calling me back about a membership issue. Legitimate number.

AAA CALL BACK NUMBER. I called claims last week to report that I just got rear ended by another vehicle and it gave me the option to wait or not loose my place in line and get a call back. I had to record my name. Unfortunately I didn't answer it, because I have never received a call from an "844" prefix, figured it was a spam call. Lol! They called me 3x's in a row, and left no message. Like the others, it didn't indicate AAA on my cell phones caller ID. Mele Kalikimaka everyone!!! :)
