Career Builders SCAM, don't give information. They have called our company everyday and have left numerous messages for employment verification for employees who have never worked for us. REPORT as SCAM will be turning over to authorities.

7-2-19 (call came from 847-305-1849) but she left a call back number of 844-896-1008 with a reference number. The caller was verifying employment on someone that has never worked for our company. I assume they are trying to get a name of a human resources person to use to recruit later. She was VERY rude and refused to leave her information until we were 8:45 minutes into the waste of my time conversation. Next time she gets fake name and the number to the local police department.

Caller was asking to verify employment info on an individual by name - when name was denied he gave out a SS# so that I could look it up and verify using that. Placed caller on hold and they hung up.

they left a message with a case number to call back with. I called several times and they put me to voice mail. sounded legit but after calling several times and getting placed on hold, I would say its a scam.

Someone at my company was named as a reference but would not give me any details. Sounds fishy. I put in a voice mail but they did not leave a message.

Someone called claiming to be with CareerBuilder, left a case number, and wanted some sort of employment verification. I called CareerBuilder's support number and was told that this number is not CareerBuilder's Employment Verification service.

Same as above. Someone called leaving a message on my cell, not my HR work phone, to call them with a case number. Checked on this site before calling them back. Will not be calling them back now.

Received call on 04/27/2018. Like others stated, they left a Case#. After reading notes above will not be calling them so can avoid being scammed.

Just got a new job, that was the verification company number. They aren't apparently as professional as other verification company's but that's their number.

They left a message at our company for an employment verification, I tried to call back but number didn't work. They left another message with a different case number, same phone number, still didn't work. Just beeped when I entered it.
