Cox cable, trying to sell home phone service. They are using an auto-dialer that is setup incorrectly, causing the person who answers to get 10-20 seconds of dead air before a recording plays, which does not indicate who is calling. Then, it can take up to several minutes before someone answers! Their auto-dialer shouldn't be letting people wait and hear dead air, or have a several minute wait to get an agent. Plus their recording and caller ID should identify whom is calling. This is an abusive company.
5/3/2016 Got a call from this number and all I got was some BS music and message about all other are busy and the call will will be answered by next agent.
This is a defective Robo Dialer for Cox Communications. I called them to tell them about the dead air when you answer. This makes Cox look bad and I told them so. They need to fix it. If you have Cox they want you to add any services that you don't subscribe to Internet, Phone or Cable TV. Cox get your act together, your ticking people off including me!
