Megan sure is making the rounds. I just received her message, and I agree that the message sounds very realistic, and doesn't sound pre-recorded at all. What a scam! They are claiming to be a police service and wanted me to click a link to get a survey - this is clearly a scam.
I've been getting multiple calls a day from this number, and the phone has never rung long enough to go to my voicemail, so I'll NEVER answer it. What's interesting is that the number is registered in the small town I was born in 70 years ago!
