Regarding the above comment from myself, the amount payable each year is $36,666.67 not $26,666.67. See, I have multiple sclerosis and my hand motion can be difficult at times but I feel it is very important that we report these ridiculous "things" we receive in the mail and have to waste our precious time to report it as I am doing now. Now, I am going to report this to the BBB. You would think that someone in the wonderful government that we have, yes I am being sarcastic, would have someone in charge of shutting these people down. It is scary that whoever this E. Wright is has my name and address. I am only 47 and I so wish that things were the way they used to be years ago...simple, easy in so many ways.

I've received the exact same letter from them a few days ago.

I have a I'd #:288638641 to 1,1000.00 and I did signs up for sweepstakes. It has been a little while. No I don't want to buy anything. At all but it say I have to claim it. Buy the time they take the taxs.you would not get the 1,100,000.00 wow $550,000.00 that's a lot of money.who knows my be i,'m a blond a it would be nice to have that kind of money but it would be nices.see people think that they.if people walk in my shoes they would not do the things they do.like rub money in your face when you need money .when you don't have it. Love to Owen there on home . Love to just buy the things that you would want.but I just don't see that happen for me.I'm just thankfull.that I'm able to do what I can with what I do get.when I do get it weather it getting can's and takeing them to the loman.paces or doing something for some one or just being nices.and helping others out.in the time of need.so I don't know what to say.try walking in my shoes but then anime you probley don't even care. I received this letter in September 2014. I knew I did not enter a sweepstakes so I decided to Google the number. It looks like a scam although I must say I wish it was real!

Just moved in and got this letter before my first utility bill. It had an ID number, my government name and instructions to call 1866-308-1017 before October 16, 2014. The crazy part about this is that none of my utility bills are in my government name due to my lifestyle and personal business. Also I know I haven't registered for any sweepstakes so IGoogled "1866-308-1017 scam 1,100,000.00 value prize with payment options in US Postal letters" lol! I never called the number and after reading 5 post from others while laughing, I'm posting this for the next person to read.

Thank you all for sharing, I received a letter today which says We are trying to reach you regarding prize entry ID 291330467, prize eligibility is $1,100,000.00, and they would need to hear from me by October 30, 2014. I also read at the bottom of page prize is awarded as 30 annual installments of $36,666.67 or a lump sum of $550,000.00. I am Happy I found this site to confirm my thoughts believing this is a Scam. I also hope the individuals are caught and punished, my family has been scammed before so now I Watch American Greed T.V. show that go after Scam Artists. Again Thank you all for sharing.

How do I make them stop? They are sending these to my minor children, how did they get my kid's information?
