called my neighbours house twice asking for me? does anyone know if this a telemarketing scam

It's a collection services company called A R M

Some neferious individual, who is obviously up to NO GOOD, is leaving messages, no identification other than a meaningless acronym of: A.R.M. and the phone number 1-866-321-7168. This lack of I.D. indicates that it may be, as they say, an important message but to whom is it important? I DO NOT RETURN SUCH CALLS, if I did I would have but two little words for them, which are not decent to print here!

Some one keeps talking about a call that is important to me. It isn't. They speak French, I don't. No I.D. about who calls other than the number. They are becoming a pain in the lower regions and I have reported the problem.

Call back asked for. I do not call people I don't know.

I got a call for that number 1 866 321 7168. There is a Lady saying her name is Cecilene. She speaks French and always has an important personal message. She behaves as if you were class mates and she tries to find you back...

Calling for a previous resident whose mail I still sometimes get. I once told this caller she no longer lives here, but then they wanted MY name. I told them I don't have to give them any personal information and hung up

I received calls from this number all the time, they seem to get my last name wrong. They never say where they're from only that it is an important message. If it is a collection agency I'm not sure why they are calling me, I pay all my bills on time and do not miss payments. If they put a little more detail in the message and don't call from an "unknown number" I may actually call them back. When they sound like they're walking and talking, I get a little suspicious.

Yeah I get calls every second day from the fools at ARM Collection Agency 1-866-321-7168. It's always someone different. When they call, they block their number, but they sometimes leave a message and leave the phone number above. They always call themselves "Mrs. xxxx" or "Mr. xxxx". They say it is "imperative" that I call them back or sometimes they say that it is a very important matter and give me some case number. There have been several complaints against them to the Better Business Bureau. They claim that they train their employees to be respectful. Hah! What a joke! If you try telling them that you do not owe anyone money, they are rude and insist. They insist on payment, even when you don't owe them or anyone else anything. They are belligerent and rude. Disgusting low-lifes!They keep calling me for a bogus $100 utility bill from over 6 years ago. This bill is bogus, because when I moved, I continued with the same service with the same company. I got my monthly bills and always paid on time. In fact I am still with them at the second place I have moved to! If I owed $100 from 6 years ago to the same company, why was I never cut off. I keep telling the low-lifes at ARM but apparently they have no common sense. The thing is no one at the utility knows how it got In collections, but I know it was their fault because they gave them my cell phone number and they were the only ones that had it. So these jerks at ARM keep calling my cell phone every other day, in every week! The first time it got to collections, it was a different agency and I disputed it on my credit report. The credit bureau removed it after it could not be proven. Then that agency sent it off to ARM years later. Thus ARM is hounding me about a phantom bill to this day. What makes me laugh is, do they think that a person is so stupid that they would pay a fake bill and then have it re-start on their record at the credit bureau like it's a new debt that was a bad debt and where it stays on for 6 years from now? And for $100? Don't they have actual cases where people owe thousands? Maybe these rejects need to be retrained to know how to do their job and that a bogus $100 bill is not even worth wasting any time on!

Got a call from someone named Casandra LeClerc on a Saturday at 1:20 in the afternoon. Just like the other posts on this site she says it is important that I call. She gave me a reference number and a phone number and no other information. Like other scammers who do not give a company name I highly doubt they will get a call back me.
