The call was an automated one that left a message. The recording used my name and said that it was from Norton Healthcare Business Office. "He" said to call back "regarding an important business matter" at 502-653-4555, even though the called ID had said some 1-866- number.

Got a call from them saying Norton Healthcare. They try to scare you, when you get a message from a hospital talking about an "Important Message". Stupid. And 866? Not fooling me.
They aren't trying to scare you - they are simply trying to let you know you have a bill to pay. Do you really think it is OK not to pay your healthcare bills? As I just pointed out they will set up a monthly payment plan with no interest - do that before they are force to send it to a collection agency. They have a right to be paid. YOU used their services...you need to pay for them.That IS important - it is far better to work with the healthcare agency themselves then have to deal with a collection agency - they are doing you a huge favors by letting you know and being willing to set up a plan for payment. I had thousands of dollars worth of bills and they were extremely nice about a plan I could afford. They saved my life - so yeah I am a little partial.
Call from Norton Healthcare regarding billing account. It was a legit call. Left voicemail saying I was to contact them regarding matter. It was a mistake call I guess they were calling to tell me my account wasn't up to date but it was and rep I spoke with let me know and apologized that I received call.
