Robot message said they were from social security. The number was attached to Charles Dunlap who has a criminal history.
They called claiming they were "The Department of Social Security Administration". They said they saw suspicious activity. I think it is a scam to try to trick you into giving out personal information. Please do not fall for it.

I agree with the other statement. While I hung up as soon as I heard "your Soc. Sec. # is suspended" there's no doubt this is a phishing scam to get personal information. The Social Security Administration uses snail mail - they never call people.
My SS number is suspended due to unusual activity. They don't call. They don't "suspend". I am sure that if I called back they would request my number.

This is a SCAM-Goes to voice mail and asks you to leave your SSN. The social security admin will never ask you to leave your SSN on a voice mail. Letter looks very official, but it's not.
