Charged with harassment? Haha a bit extreme don't you think? Just block their number!

I called the number back and theTelus Mobility automated system answered, so it does appear to be a legitimate Telus number.However, I think when we receive a call in which the 866-768-9100 number is displayed that someone is spoofing (I think that's the term). I other words I think a scammer has hijacked the number so that it is displayed when they call. I really doubt that someone legitimately working for Telus would respond the way we have noted.

This is not a Telus number. Someone has spooffed the caller ID. If you call the number back they will tell you it is Telus. I went on to the Telus Wed site and chatted with a Telus employee. I asked him if 866-768-9100 was one of their numbers. He looked it up and said no it is not. I explained the problem to him and he said he would report it. And thanked me for the information.

received two calls, both times they never left message. I think it is spam.
