Received a call from 877 658 3960. Turned out to be a vendor for hospitals. They help patients like me, that were in the hospital, get my medical claim updated. Not a scam. They had my information already and called my insurance company with me to update the information needed to process the claim. Took a few minutes. Very pleasant.

This is a scam. I had them email me requested info. Email said Claim Services, Inc "assists former patients of XXX Hospital obtain and complete documentation needed in order to properly process a medical claim. XXX (insurance company) is requesting a completed Third Party Liability form for services rendered to you on XX/XX/XX. Without this information, your insurance will not finalize this claim. Please complete the form(s), sign and date, and fax to my attention at 888-247-0146, or email to chneikoe@claimservices.org."I called my insurance company and they showed no outstanding claims and never heard of Claim Services, Inc. My insurance company also said if they needed information from me then they would have contacted me directly. So it is a scam.

Scam. Scam scam. Trying to obtain personal information why doesn’t law enforcement arrest these people

Caller said they needed information to verify a claim. They had wanted to know the details of my son’s car accident and why he was taken to ———hospital. My son was in a different hospital but not for a car accident. Phishing expedition. Calling insurance company tomorrow.
