Our SCAM has PRESORTED FIRST CLASS MAIL ... DALLAS, TX PERMIT#2850 instead of Hamden, CT. — or that was CloverDale’s P.O..?
Post card. Vehicle Alert Notice. Time sensitive. "Factory Warranty on your vehicle may have expired or is about to expire" Presorted first class mail postage paid Dallas, TX, Permit# 2650
Received a post card at PO Box in Hamden CT with this phone number. Glad to see that so many others realized it is not legit. It might be helpful if we include the city and state we live in when leaving a warning. My post card was shredded.
I have a Cadillac, and this is the number on the factory warranty notification letter they sent me asking me to call them to have the warranty extended.
Just received the same postcard. Hopefully they did pay the US post office for sending it out. Mine in heading for the shredder.
Got a postcard saying "Vehicle Alert Notice" in big red letters. Looks rather official and intimidating. But it has pre-printed postage, the type used for junk mail. It says my vehicle's warranty is about to expire or has recently expired based on age or mileage. They don't give any information about the vehicle, such as the make, model, year or VIN. In barely visible, microscopic print at the bottom on the back, it says: "Not affiliated with the dealer or manufacturer. Information used to mail this offer was obtained from neither DMV nor personal credit file. Final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet our full eligibility requirements. This is an offer for a motor vehicle service contract. Following offer expiration, manager approval may be required to waive inspection requirement. 500 Northwest Plaza Suite 1200, St. Ann, MO 63074." But the name of the company offering this fabulous and urgently necessary motor vehicle service contract is nowhere on the card! Gee, I wonder why. Are they ashamed of the name they have made for themselves by scamming people? Hmmmmm. So I Googled the address and found it belongs to some yo-yo's called the VSC Marketing Group, DBA Repair Defense Network. The first two results that come up on Google are the BBB, citing numerous customer complaints about the company and warning consumers to "use caution when considering doing business" with them. In plain English, they are shysters. Burn or shred the postcard and don't call them.
My mom got a postcard in the mail and hasn't even owned a car in 16 years. Total scam! This was the phone number on the card to call IMMEDIATELY.
They are so ashamed of who they are, they don't put the name of their company on the card. They have no clue as to the age of my car. Seems the phone company isn't doing it's job to eliminate these calls. It is a scam.
Received post card in the mail to urgently call this number saying that my vehicle warranty is about to expire. I drive a 20 year old 2nd hand car that has no warranty. Probably a scam
