Update this was the bank they said it was. I am glad I did not talk to the guy who answered the phone the first time though.

I just found one of those envelopes on my door and decided to call the number. A male answered the phone with just a "hello", then asked to speak to someone I've never heard of. I told him he had the wrong number, then he just hung up on me. Definitely not 5/3 as they have written on the envelope. I wish I would have seen who left this on my door!

Received an orange door tag. No business names indicated just important and please call in English and Spanish. No one answered when I called at 9:11 PM EST and the message just said no one was available, did not identify a company name. I do have a mortgage with fifth third so I find that coincidental but still shady.

I bet it is 53 verifying occupancy..esp if youve ever been behind on mtg as they are predatory mtg servicer..I got one and they are my loan svcr. Shady as is all 53 practices

It's Fifth Third Bank. One of many numbers they call from. If you are getting a call from this number, or received a door hanger, it assumes you have a mortgage with Fifth Third Bank and are behind in your payments. If this is the case, answer your phone and keep the communication going. Ignoring your mortgage servicer is not a wise move.

Shady phone call from supposedly 5/3 Bank. Very rude person trying to get personal info and would not identify himself at first. Hung up and blocked number.
