My friend has received more than 300 blank texts messages from the same number at 2:30am.
To block messages, if you have an Android phone, install ChompSMS. It's a million times better than the messaging app that came with the phone, and allows you to "blacklist" (block) numbers from sending you text messages.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.
