Call came in from "California" and they left a message saying "Hi, This is Lupe calling with FCR Regarding your textbook rental. Please give me a call back at 1-800-979-8917. If you prefer you may view your account details and pay online by visiting paymybook.com. I am required to notify you this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. I look forward to hearing back from you. Hope you're having a nice day." ~Which, I did never return textbooks, so I believe it is legit. I also received a letter from them a couple weeks ago. However, the call sounded recorded, and it started with hold music first. So, idk what ti believe about it.
I couldn't return a couple books I rented because the backpack I carried them in, got stolen. Now I'm getting calls from these guys. Pfft, nothing I can do, so number blocked.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
