This was on my work caller ID in Phornix, AZ from Saturday, November 15th. No phone message was left, so must NOT be important.

Googled the number to this site. I use Callwave and here is the information that popped up:KUSHNER COMP973-360-2026 ( work )Madison, NJThis was a call to my cell phone. Says disconnected when I try to call back.

Same here. I'm on a VOIP phone in Panama.

I called the Kushner Company in New Jersey and they said that the number that has called is actually a fax line. I think what is happening is some company is disguising their number, using this number as a front, and creating a database of phone numbers to sell to telemarketers. The phone calls are just a way to test to make sure the numbers are valid. Kushner Companies said that they will look into it, but there is nothing that they can do at this time.

weird .... had this number pop up on my office phone too. chicago here called it back and it was disconnected...

Half a ring and then hung up. I think this is some ruse to find out how many people will call the company back or how many of the total calls will blog about it. Probably sponsored by the Kurshner company. Or maybe even get information from you that you don't want them to have.

Same here - Caller ID says Kushner Comp - I checked Kushner Companies website and apparently there's been some fraud through email - I wonder if it has spread to phone - here's the message on their website...It has come to our attention that The Kushner Companies name and logo have been used without our consent or knowledge in a scheme to acquire sensitive information from unsuspecting Web and email users. Kushner Companies does not send unsolicited email to establish business relationships and advises anyone who may have received such emails to delete them immediately. © 2007 Kushner Companies

received a call fromthis same number. no message. tried calling back but recording says the phone number is disconnected. beleive it's Kushner Companies but I have no idea who they are or what they want

range oncethen stopped.But I have a block against un Id calls on my phone service.

The number called, rang once and then i go to answer it and i have nothing but a dial tone and i called it back and it says that the number has been disconnected. Anyone know who this is ?
