So sick of these IRS scam calls. Sad thing is that some people fall for them. I work at a tax practice and we had a client that fell for this last year. Infuriating. They also use other numbers from California, Massachusetts, etc....
I have received a call from this number claiming to be the IRS. Threating to lock me up if I do not respond within 2 hours. I truly believe this is a scam demanding payment for illegal reasons. hnf9537
Got a call from the number. threatened I was going to get arrested. Requested I go withdraw money from my bank and wait for further instructions if i wanted to resolve this outside to avoid arrest. I knew immediately it was a fraud but entertained it for a while. I was not to hang up the phone, i was not to discuss this matter with any third party, I just need to send the money (no check, no online payment etc.). This is crazy. How do we get these people arrested? they are the ones who need to be behind bars
I called them 54 times on a robocall. Then I left a voicemail, saying "annoying isn't it?" Definitely an IRS scam call.
This is 100% IRS scam. I seek out and verify these calls and confirmed it is a scam.

They have called twice but don't leave a voicemail. With the rise if AI voice spoofing, I won't take the chance. Snail mail, text or detailed vmail is the only way to engage with me, stay safe and pray that God touches the hearts of these scammers.
