Funny, I had been speaking to a US marine named Thomas Durand from Nashua, New Hampshire, for around 23 years and recently I have had some hacking problems at home in Australia,. They follow marines like there is no tomorrow... I would be very careful... and maybe not bother calling back... just advice.... or seek help from your lawyer

I did the same with an Indian sounding man. I told him I was not going to hit OK to go to that address; seems like an intricate sales pitch, since I was apparently going to be connected to a technician who would fix all these problems for me by presumably selling me some kind of repair software. I googled this site on my iMac and nothing relevant appeared. What a lot of nonsenseand waste of time.

Received Scam call about the "global server" receiving error messages from my computer. I played dumb which was not hard to do because I had a hard time understanding the guy. After going through his routine he asked me to log on to www.mypchelp.com! I played along until he wanted me to give him access. Ended the call. The number on my call ID was 011-503-0201

I also received many calls from 3173006060 claiming to have received errors from my computer. After several minutes of confusing dialog, I also hung up, but not after I told them to send it to me in the snail mail. I gave them the White Houses address.

Got the call today, I asked him to tell me what my OS is, he said Microsoft. Nope! He hung up on me.

Same thing, wanted me to run website www.mypchelp.us, hung up at that point.

Same here, Caller ID was "New York NY"

indian scammers - want me to put in www.mypchelp.us DONT DO IT -- SCAM ALERT THET CALL ME EVERYDAY WITH DIFFERENT NUMBERS

Hi,I have had several phone calls over the last few months from - 201-991-8699They say my computer is being hacked. I played along and they wanted me to run www.mypchelp.us in the run window on my pc.

My wife received a phone call which showed up as "unavailable" on the caller id. The caller told her we had been infected with a virus. She told the caller that I, her husband, took care of the computers so they should call back. The second time they called I was at home and took the call, which once again showed up as "unavailable" on caller id. As others have written, the accented man on the line told me the same thing and asked me to start the event viewer from the "Search" box on the start menu. I asked if he was with Microsoft and if so how could I verify that. He said that they were a company hired by Microsoft to handle these problems. I went ahead and ran Event Viewer knowing no harm could be done. He said that I should see several warnings and errors, which I did. He then asked me to enter www.mypchelp, at which point I knew this was a the least an ad and maybe even a scam, so I stopped him and told him I was already running virus protection software (McAfee) and hung up. He called back within 2 minutes and asked why I hung up. I told him of my suspicions at which point he started swearing at me, calling me a SOB and MF several times for having wasted his time. Needless to say I told him "No you are wasting my time" and to never call back!
