This is asset management collections. They are a 3rd party Collection Company. They buy old ofeten times outdated debts from 2nd party debt collectors. This is known as bottom dwelling collections.Ironically this company is known to use spoof phone numbers which are not tracable, Google voice in order to make contact and attempt to re-establish the debt when you give your phone number, as well as hide who they are and what their motives are.When calling the number and a real person comes on the phone, Ironically always a Wendy Hayes(sp) answers the phonePeople, you do not have to talk to, accept or discuss this debt with anyone other than the original owner of the debt... Send them a certified letter stating that you will not discuss any debt with anyone other than the original person / company that the debt is owed to.Also make sure you know your states staute of limitation and if by talking to the collection company can restart the debt...
This number calls atleast 6 tims a day-- I refuse to anwser it since I didnt give it out... Mon-Sunday- they call everyday........
I'm getting at least 3 calls a day from this number. Nobody on the other end. They also called my husband's cell. I want them to cease and desist!
They are violating the injunction order.Please call the FTC and let them know that West Asset Management is harassing people again.
