Jan.18@4:59pm - another fake 30-survey scam call - this time offering Nassau/The Bahamas instead of Florida or Mexico. Their robo-dailer uses some sort of code - my Rogers Home Phone normallhy cuts off auto-dialers and there's no messge; but these scammer get past that every time and I get a pre-recorded 'fake survey' (NOTE: They are ALL fake!!)I'm beginning to think its organized crime behind it all - the computer dialers; scam attempts; lists; trying to get your prersonal data or credit card info....Unless I'm expecting a call and recognize the area code - I'm to the point where I don't answer the phone anymore. These [***] have been calling from one spoofed number or another for over two years...every damn week. And I'm reporting to the RCMP Anti-fraud Centre and the CRTC Do Not Call Registry (and now here - thank you fellow Posters!) every time - if we all make it clear to our respective governments that we will not keep tolerating this; the government will dedicate the time and resources to change the laws/gather evidence so they can shut these [***] down! Please post and have patience - it takes time to build a prosecutable international case.Hmmm....maybe if we all email our elected representatives every time we get these calls; the officials will clue in and provide the needed funding to get rid of em...?? Why shouldn't they feel our pain, too?!?
I just got a third call from this number in 3 days. Never anyone on the other end. 6pm Kelowna, BC
Leaves no message onthe answering machine and it is dead air for 15 seconds if I pick up so I hang up because this is indicative of a tape message.I am in Northern Ontario.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
