I am also on Telus do not call service. I am wondering if it is a free $2.00 for the company every month........since I was JUST signed up for home phone with Telus on Jaunary 7th / 2013, I have received 8 scam calls already from other numbers as well. Comes up as 'Dist. Columbia'.
It started 8:20, Jan.5th. We have had at least 12 calls. We have tried answering, we tried hanging up without answering, we tried answering and hanging up immediately. Nothing works. It is now 8:40 and the calls continue.
Does this site report to the CRTC about nusance calls. If not, it should they are paid to look into these matters. Perhaps imposing fine is necessary action now.
Just received this call a few minutes ago in Ottawa. Posting state the recorded message isoffering 2 free tickets to a cruise to Nassau and the Bahamas, but only if I participate in their "survey." Will report AGAIN to the DNCL. Hoping everyone will do the same.

they keep calling me asking if i am or know sombody
"Greater Nevada Credit Union Fraud Prevention" called and left message. We called bank directly, no prob with our cards or account. Incidentally, we always get a bunch of scam calls after posting something to Craigs List or FB Market Place.

Scotia bank fraud Dept calling about a change to my account
I just tried to log into my SS account and could see that this number was trying to get a code to gain access. This country is OUTTA CONTROL. Hey Elmo is this you and your teen gang?
SCAM - Caller with Indian accent claimed to be calling from Barclays credit card fraud department. Asked for personal information. Just hang up.
This number made an unauthorized charge on my PAYPAL account. I had no dealings with them.
