Got a text needing a website so I blocked them. Then today this number texted a ??. So I searched it and got here. Now I’ll block this number. I have a feels big they are getting the phone numbers from domain purchases and renewals. Or straight from Whois.

I received the same yesterday telling me they have $7300 budget for a website. I do not automatically blow potential business leads off but they will not give a name or confirm how they found me. I more or less ignored it yesterday but they texted me again today about when I could get them a price and when could I get started. I quoted back a price that is extraordinarily high and they "accepted" the amount. There are also signs of broken English in their written communication and they ignore my requests for a name, phone call, etc. I blocked them.
Received a text asking if I provide website services - also broken English. Found this thread before I replied, thank goodness (not real). Didn't reply, and you shouldn't either :)

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
