Rec'd a call from this number 2 days in a row on my cell phone. The first time I ignored it, no message left so today I answered and they hung up on me

Please don't be so naive. Calling these people back or answering the phone in the first place is only telling them that the computer is dialing a "good" number. You will now be spammed even more! They will never take you off a call list. They pay huge dollars to get this data.Second, everyone asks, "I am ion the Do Not Call List" but they keep calling. Listen folks, if you read the DNC laws, it only pertains to spammers who block their number. If your phone or caller ID displays a number, they are legal to call....period.These spammers/scammers buy blocks of numbers from every state they can. The actual origin of the call could be as far as india or as close as down the street from you. But, you will never know it because all of throe call are reputed through various telephone companies! To fight these sick [***] you have to follow the money flow. First, the firms that collect and resell your information, that is perfectly legal. Second, The tel companies are earning a huge profit from selling the blocks of numbers and routers. Third the day this will stop is when your local politician is spammed on his personal cell phone or the main office phone is overwhelmed with spammers morning, noon & night. Try to get a hold of your local reps number and sign that number up to as many mailing list as you can find. Sit back and watch! Trust me, I have been a investigator for 35 years and know all to well who these people are. It's will take all of you to do your part in stopping these [***].

I received a call from this number at 1030am from Alabama, No voice message not important then.

Keep getting these calls from this number. They never leave a message. I'm on do not call list. Yet, I still get these predatory calls.

I received two calls - my phone is listed on the DO NOT CALL list.

Called me 11/20 & 11/21 at noon. Did not leave a voice mail.

The number has called me twice in two days. Does not leave any message.

I called this number back, and pressed "1" to talk to the operator. It seems that I've "bought something from one of their partners" and I'm entitled to a $100 rebate card. I asked them how they were able to track my purchases, and she said she's in the Rewards department, and don't know how they get their phone calls. I told them I wasn't being paranoid, but I wasn't fond of them knowing where and what I was buying, and to remove me from their phone call list. She apologized for taking up my time, and said she would remove me from her list.I'm not really that paranoid. I know it's a scam. I just like jacking with them.Luke
