Yep, I admit: Got this number calling me (206-823-3827) and got scared. Thanks for this website !
Same thing with me. I called them back, def a phone scam, I've been calling back to back for about an hour now.
They might call less or not at all by calling them back and blasting them with an air horn!
Said they were calling to report that the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us. FRAUD!!
We just had the same message saying That the IRS has filed a lawsuit against us. This is a total automated female voice and it's a BIG SCAM!!!!!
206-823-3827 called and had an automated message claiming to be the IRS, I know the IRS doesn't place random calls and this seemed fishy from the start. Contacted TIGTA (at 800-366-4484) to report this scam.
Got the call in May and again today. Told them both times to send the police to get me. My kids were getting on my nerves and jail sounds nice. Today the man with very broken English called me a mother F***** then hung up. I blocked the call. The thing that alarmed me was they not only had my name but my address as well.
