I just got this call too. I heard about a scam where they call from overseas (i.e. Canada it looks like here - 207 covers part of Canada as well as Maine) and charge you ridiculous amounts on your bill. In the future, just don't answer and look up the number and make sure it isn't an international number. If it's someone important, they'll leave a message

Received a call from this number. Did not answer as I did not recognize the area code. Definitely will not answer!!!!

called my husband's cell when i tried callling back from the home phone all i got was busy signal, then that the number is no longer in service and then that the circuits where busy!!! Scam i tell yah

I think you are right about the Knot thing! I voted for a friend who was getting married and I signed up a friend and created an account for her. I have answered once is its someone speaking in Spanish. When I call back busy signal. Thanks for the help I'll put my number on the do not call registry.

Just got this number rejected it. i live in Ohio.

This number called at 7:30am. My Privus caller I.D. app says its from Palermo, Maine. I didn't answer because I live in Oklahoma and don't know anyone from Maine.

Same number called me. No message left though. Glad I read this thread!

Got this call and it really pissed me off cause i worked third and i left it go to voicemail because i didnt know the number- of course they didnt leave one. im in ohio.
