I just got this call too. I heard about a scam where they call from overseas (i.e. Canada it looks like here - 207 covers part of Canada as well as Maine) and charge you ridiculous amounts on your bill. In the future, just don't answer and look up the number and make sure it isn't an international number. If it's someone important, they'll leave a message

called my husband's cell when i tried callling back from the home phone all i got was busy signal, then that the number is no longer in service and then that the circuits where busy!!! Scam i tell yah
I think you are right about the Knot thing! I voted for a friend who was getting married and I signed up a friend and created an account for her. I have answered once is its someone speaking in Spanish. When I call back busy signal. Thanks for the help I'll put my number on the do not call registry.
This number called at 7:30am. My Privus caller I.D. app says its from Palermo, Maine. I didn't answer because I live in Oklahoma and don't know anyone from Maine.

I didn't recognize the number so I obviously was checking to see who it was
The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.

Unsolicited call. Wanted me to complete my "voter profile." I've voted from this address for over 20 years.
It happened to me they got into my computer and got all bank info they took over $4000. from me left me with nothing. Don't trust anyone this was a setup.
