I answered this call, thinking it was one of my coworkers. It is a telemarketing company telling me something about antidepressants and what lawsuits I could join. I have been added to the Do Not Call Registry, but they called anyway.
Got a call on my cell phone, didn't answer, left a message but it was 2 seconds long and silence.
Answered the call because it was a local number, got a beep and "congratulations". I hung up.
This is a scam- I'd report them to the Do Not Call registery, but it's a toothless paper tiger - we all need to start pestering our congress critters to change the law so INDIVIDAL CITIZENS can file suit in federal court!As it is, the Do Not Call registery merely accumulates complaints until some law enforcement agency contacts them to ask if there are any cmplaints! DUH! How would it be if you called the local police about a robbery and they said, "Well, give us the information, and IF someone decides to investigate, we'll give them the information."
I WILL NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS FOR NUMBERS I DO NOT KNOW. STOP THEM FROM CALLING. I AM ON THE NO CALLING LIST THAT IS A JOKE. I WILL CONTINUE TO NOT ANSWER THESE CALLS.
They are WCA Subscriber Services. Filed complaint with Do Not Call Registry. Waiting for this to stop

I called the Chase number on the back of my card and they said they had NOT called me, said it was scammers. I had two calls on my machine asking me to call them back.

Claim to be discover card. I don't have that disreputable card and haven't had one for 20 years, so they have no reason to call me. Very suspicious.
