I got a call from this number. Did not answer, but they left a voicmail. The caller claimed to be an independent process server trying to contact me about a complaint filed against me and told me to call back on a toll-free number rather than the number they called me from. I guess they changed tactics since people caught on to their other scam?
Man with heavy accent, who identified himself as John Smith (uh-huh) from World Tech, claimed that a manager was waiting for his call. I researched the number and quickly scanned a few of these lovely reviews, then turned back to the phone, but he'd already hung up. Fine with me.
Oh, and they claimed to be working out of the county where I live, DFW area, even though this is a San Antonio area code on a landline.
Called asking for someone saying it was regarding from a medical office. Asked more questions and they hung up. Idiots
Received 6 consistent calls w/in two hours. When answered; the other party hangs up. Call the number back immediately; to hear my phone provider say; The number you called has been changed, disconnected, or no longer in service. So, after the 5th call from this number; I blocked the number. Yet, to still get the 6th call from the same number! How exactly does a blocked number still be able to call??
I recently started receiving calls from this phone number at least once a day. Luckily, my service provider has this number blocked so I won't be able to answer the calls but a little pissed off that whoever is calling is trying to run their scam with their daily calls.Caller ID displayed "TEXAS" and the number.
Called me around 11:45 am, didn't answer, got a call from (210)280-8487 at 2:30, didn't answer, called me again at 4:15, I answer and said hello and they hung up
