Called the office twice within a few minutes and hung up as soon as I answered. I called back to complain about the calls and was told there are over 2000 employees there.
Called again 3 times in about a minute and hung up each time again as soon as we said anything. I called them back and asked what the company was. It's Rackspace...a webhosting company. The gentleman who answered had no idea why anyone from their company would call us multiple times and hang up as soon as we started to speak.
Harassing phpone calls...non-stop...ask to be removed from their list 4 months ago, yet these sales losers keep calling. They are rude and indignant...to all telemarketers...get a reqal job you [***].
i think for the most part these folks are not telemarketers. my company uses their services for web hosting, and due to the nature of their business, things can and do go wrong at all hours. since these calls are usually going to techies whove specifically requested a callback (like me), that's not a problem. and rackspace can't really be blamed if they get a wrong phone number from someone, and/or write it down wrong, which i suspect is what happened with these 1:30am calls, at least.
